Subway Mapper

Name all five missing stations on the New York subway map.

How to play

  1. Choose a numbered station under Missing labels or select its marker on the map. Use its train lines, location and nearby named stations as clues. The map shows a curated station network, not live travel directions.
  2. Type your answer in Station name, or open Browse station names to select from the complete list. Then choose Place label. Every name is available from the start; searching helps you find a choice without identifying the answer.
  3. A correct answer reveals and locks that station’s label. An incorrect guess leaves the label open so you can try again. Previously solved labels stay solved.
  4. Complete all five labels to finish. Wrong guesses do not end the attempt; competition clocks keep running while you think, retry, leave or reload.

Practice

Practice saves your current attempt. Start a new practice puzzle when you want a fresh one. Practice results do not change Elo.

There is no solo time limit. Your solved labels and guesses save as you play. Keep using the map clues until all five labels are correct; the head-to-head clock applies only in that mode.

Solo scoring

Each correct station label earns 200 solo points, up to 1,000 for all five. Incorrect guesses add to your guess count without removing points or ending the attempt. Guess count does not outrank a correct completion in head-to-head.
