What Animal?

Identify ten different animals from real wildlife photos.

How to play

  1. Look at the complete photo and compare the animal’s shape and markings. Enlarge photo opens a closer view without submitting an answer.
  2. Choose one of four animals, or press A–D or 1–4. Each first submitted answer is final and earns one point if correct.
  3. Review the animal and its scientific name, then move to the next photo. Each set mixes wildlife from land, air and water. Daily and practice are untimed; both players share the same ten photos in a two-minute live match.

Progress and results

Both players receive the same puzzle and clock. Real-player matches affect this game's Elo; bot matches are unrated. Leaving through the game controls forfeits the match.

A complete correct word or logic solve beats a partial attempt. Complete solves compare time; finishes within 0.1 seconds tie. If neither player finishes, higher verified progress wins; equal progress ties. Quizzes compare native correct-answer or clue scores first. 2048 and Keep the Beat compare native scores; equal native scores tie.

Finish and save progress banks your work in a friend duel. Results are revealed when the challenge closes. An untouched stage earns zero. In live head-to-head, leaving is still a forfeit.

Game points describe correct work or performance toward the game's goal. Native measures such as correct answers and merge score remain visible. Hidden-answer accuracy is revealed only after the attempt ends.

Submitted moves save as you play. Finishing early is permanent and keeps verified progress; an untouched game earns zero. Active competition clocks keep running when you leave. Breaks between stages are untimed.
