Vocab Test
Take on ten challenging questions from a 1,100-word bank and strengthen your word memory.
How to play
- Some questions ask for a word's meaning; others ask which word completes a sentence. Choose the closest meaning or the best fit for the context.
- Select one of four answers, or press A–D or 1–4. Your first submitted choice is final. Correct answers earn one point; wrong answers earn zero.
- Read the definition and example after each answer, then choose Next question. Review the final answer before opening your results.
- Daily games share one challenging ten-question set. New practice sets favor words you missed in earlier sessions and switch between meanings and sentence contexts. A word is strengthened after correct answers in both formats across separate sessions. In live head-to-head play, both players receive the same questions and have three minutes; correct answers decide the winner, with completion time breaking a tied score.
Progress and results
Both players receive the same puzzle and clock. Real-player matches affect this game's Elo; bot matches are unrated. Leaving through the game controls forfeits the match.
A complete correct word or logic solve beats a partial attempt. Complete solves compare time; finishes within 0.1 seconds tie. If neither player finishes, higher verified progress wins; equal progress ties. Quizzes compare native correct-answer or clue scores first. 2048 and Keep the Beat compare native scores; equal native scores tie.
Finish and save progress banks your work in a friend duel. Results are revealed when the challenge closes. An untouched stage earns zero. In live head-to-head, leaving is still a forfeit.
Game points describe correct work or performance toward the game's goal. Native measures such as correct answers and merge score remain visible. Hidden-answer accuracy is revealed only after the attempt ends.
Submitted moves save as you play. Finishing early is permanent and keeps verified progress; an untouched game earns zero. Active competition clocks keep running when you leave. Breaks between stages are untimed.
